Elafonisi island
Elafonissi Island is one of the most beautiful spot in Crete, also known as the ´´Maldives´´ of Crete, where visitors can admire the beautiful colors of the water and the pink sand and enjoy the sea and the beach. It is a place of history that goes back to the Turkish occupation and the difficult times of the Cretan revolution. While driving to Elafonissi guests will see many small traditional villages and gorges that will show them a different aspect of the Cretan life.
Activities
Elafonissi Tour program description:
Departure from Chania will take place around 8:00 (details about the departure time will be sent to each customer depending on their location). First stop will be in a traditional village (for aprox.30 minutes) where our customers can have breakfast*. The next stop will be Elafonissi Island for aprox. 3,5-4 hours. Our guide will advise the exact departure time. Our third stop will be in Amygdalokefali village at a restaurant with great food* and magnificent view (aprox.45 minutes). In the morning we will pass from Topolia Gorge and for the return we will choose another road on the coast that leads to the village Sfinari, so we recommend if anyone is afraid of heights not to take this tour (around 19:00-19:30 is the return time to Chania).
